Great to curl or straighten!

I actually saw my friend use this and decided to buy it for myself. I have pretty straight hair so I wanted something I could control heat settings and adjust the temperature. I use it more to curl my hair than straighten it tbh. It's fast to heat and fast to cool down. The only issue I face is the placement of the buttons - often I accidentally click them while using the straightener and that messes with the temperature, but personally it isn't too much of an issue to me.

Just get the regular straightener instead. Even for waves.

I also own the Revlon regular straightener which I love. It was a good value and works great. I use it most often for making waves actually. But I needed an extra one to leave at our camp so I didn't have to remember to bring mine back and forth so I figured I'd spend a few extra bucks on this one thinking maybe it would be better for my needs also. However, I find it more difficult to hold clamped down on my hair than my regular flat iron and the temperature controls are practically impossible not to push when using it which means I'm either hitting the button that adjusts the temperature from what I've set it on or turning it off. I'm constantly having to check to see what I've hit with almost every pass of the hot iron I do. Not cool. I used it only twice hoping I could tweak how I use it to solve my issues with it, but I don't think that will be possible. I really should just return it and buy another one of their straighteners that I love. And oh...I also bought a sweet little 3/4" barrel curling iron I love. Since I mostly do waves now I'm starting to use this one a little more. I should probably leave a review on that one also. It is definitely a keeper.

It's a good straightener overall

I like this much more than my first one. (I've come late to straightening) I don't like that it catches my hair and pulls some out. Maybe it's something I'm doing but my first one didn't do this. I also don't care for where the control buttons are as I keep changing the temps while I'm using it. Overall this one seems to make my hair straighter than my first one, maybe it's the adjustable temps. I also like that it has a curling option. I'm not the most experienced person with a straightener but I think this is a good product for the money.

It doesn’t curl consistently, the twisted shape adds nothing. Makes is more awkward if anything. It does heat fast.

Heats up quickly

The straight or curl curve hair styler works well on my hair. I love the one inch plates. The main problem I have with this styler is that sometimes it catches my hair if I turn it a certain way. The other problem is that sometimes I accidentally touch the control buttons which can be annoying. I love that this heats up quickly and I don't have to wait long for it to cool down either. It does a great job of both straightening and curling my hair, although I primarily use it for straightening.

Very good straighter

I really like this straightener! is Revlon and this is going to be good. at home, our experience with this brand always has been amazing. It has some great features and you can easily adjust the temperature. my Wife has curly hair and this really helps defrizz her hair and makes it look really sleek. she also used it to create curls in her hair and it also works really well for that. Overall great straightener!
